Researchers have developed a system called GADR to automatically generate Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) from unstructured meeting transcriptions. Unlike previous approaches, GADR can handle informal and noisy meetings where decisions are implicit and fragmented. The system uses a multi-agent workflow that extracts relevant information and generates ADR drafts in a standard format. An initial study showed that GADR outperformed baseline methods in capturing expert-identified decisions and producing clear and useful drafts. --- Why it matters: This matters to AI researchers because it addresses the challenge of extracting structured information from unstructured data, which is a common problem in many applications.
